Winter Garden / Drawn Flora

the winter garden / drawn flora pattern collection is a reinterpretation of the original winter garden concept through the visual elements of the drawn flora trend. the flora of botanical gardens and greenhouses remains the central theme of the design, but i have adapted the formal and graphic appearance of the motifs to the character of the trend. in the design process, i used monoprint floral drawings, tonal coloring, simplified plant forms, and linear drawings. the combination of solid-color surfaces and delicate line drawings creates both contrast and layering within the patterns. the collection consists of hero, secondary, and blender patterns, which form a system that can be combined with one another. the goal was to preserve the original botanical world of winter garden while developing a freer, more graphic, and more expressive visual character that reinterprets the botanical theme through the contemporary tools of the drawn flora trend.
