Monotype

during the monotype project, i explored the intersection of graphic design and textile design. i applied hand-painted, one-of-a-kind prints to organza, pvc, and burlap surfaces, whose differing structures, transparency, and textures actively shaped the final result. the aim of this experimentation was to explore how the same visual motif changes depending on the different characteristics, surfaces, and light-reflecting properties of the materials. photographer: zoi dontasz
